Recruit Games ("we," "us") helps basketball players — from middle school through college and the transfer portal — build a recruiting profile and contact coaches. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you and your family have. By using Recruit Games you agree to this policy.
Account & profile: name, email, role (player / parent / coach), and the recruiting profile you build — date of birth, school, grad year, position, measurables, stats, film links, photos, and contact details you choose to publish.
Academic records: GPA, official transcript, and any test-score reports you choose to upload or link. These are sensitive education records; we store them privately and only show them to coaches when you share your profile.
Outreach & usage: the coaches you save and email, message status, and basic technical/usage data needed to run the service.
To build and host your profile, match you to best-fit schools, send recruiting emails to coaches on your behalf (from your name, reply-to your email), process payments, and maintain and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Recruit Games account. Recruit Games is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information; if we learn we have, we delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us at privacy@recruitgames.app.
For athletes 13 to 17, a parent or legal guardian must review and confirm their permission at sign-up before the athlete builds a profile or contacts coaches. Parents may review, correct, or delete their child's information at any time by contacting us. We collect only what is needed for recruiting.
Coaches: when you share your profile or email a coach, that coach receives your profile link and the information on it.
Service providers: Supabase (hosting, database, file storage), Resend (email delivery), and Stripe (payments). They process data only to provide their service.
Outreach emails comply with CAN-SPAM: they identify the sender, include our mailing address, and carry a working unsubscribe link. A coach who unsubscribes is never emailed again through Recruit Games.
Data is protected with row-level access controls so each account can only reach its own records; uploaded documents live in private storage. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request or a reasonable time after closure.
You can access, correct, export, or delete your information, and parents can do the same for their child. Contact privacy@recruitgames.app. We may update this policy; we'll post the new effective date here.
